Membership consists of faculty members, including both tenure-track and non-tenure-track appointees. Voting members include elected unit representatives and at-large representatives, and ex officio members: the chancellor of IU Indianapolis, two members of the Chancellor's Cabinet who hold faculty appointments, and any elected member of the Executive Committee who is not otherwise a member of the council.
Ex officio non-voting members include the head of each academic unit located in Indianapolis, the faculty governance leader from each school, the parliamentarian, the president of the IU Indianapolis Student Government, the president of the IU Indianapolis Staff Council (or a designee), IU Indianapolis representatives to the University Faculty Council, and a representative from the IU Indianapolis Senior Academy.
Members serve two years and may serve up to two consecutive terms. Term expiration dates are expressed as (Month/Year) in the list below.
